Holiday Edition! Vanilla Apricots I Ep. 57 I Cooking in the Community Kitchen

Sweeten up your holiday season with Vanilla Apricots! Great gift idea this holiday or for when you’re hosting!

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups of sugar

1 ½ cup of water

3 strips of fresh lemon zest

1 fresh vanilla bean

3 cups dried apricots

DIRECTIONS:

Bring 3 cups of sugar, 1 ½ cup water, 3 strips of fresh lemon zest, and 1 split vanilla bean to a simmer, stirring.

Add 3 cups of died apricots, cook 10 minutes.

Let cool, then divide among jars.
